MUMBAI: 'Aawara Sham Hai' a romantic anthem launched last year by Meet Bros, is now all set to be released in a new version. The musical duo has launched the song, which was shot in Shimla last year, in its new avatar,
'Aawara Shaam hai - Duet’. The duet features the soulful voice of Piyush Mehroliyaa, who has teamed up with renowned singer Rupali Jagga to create another soulful single. Piyush has gone a step ahead in rearranging and creating an Alt Mix too, which he says is very close to his heart.
Speaking about the song, Meet Bros said, “Melody has always been our priority and even in the party songs, we add melody. We have been supporting Piyush's talent for some time now. His voice has everything from melody to versatility and energy. This song really brings out his soulful voice and brings live the beautiful lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed. Rupali Jagga has done a great job too. The original Aawara Shaam Hai was a huge hit and now this duet version will take it a notch higher."
Piyush Mehroliyaa said, “I would like to thank everyone who loved Aawara Shaam Hai and made it one of the best songs of the year. It was also nominated at the Radio Mirchi Awards. This is a milestone, an achievement, for me and for the whole team. My fans have been asking for more and the duet version was a perfect way to give them something new. A huge thanks to Meet Bros and Raajeev sir for supporting me.” To this, Rupali Jagga added, “I am so happy and blessed to be associated with a song which has already won millions of hearts. I have tried to make this version also beautiful.” Raajeev Sharma, co-Founder & Label Head of MB Music said, “We are very happy to release the new versions of the much-loved song and our endeavor is to always entertain fans and I’m sure the audience will love this song too." The original version of the song released last year was an instant hit with fans and the video was trending at #1 for two days. The song has crossed 125 million views and growing. There was a lot of demand from fans for a duet or female version and it was decided to release a duet version with the singers featuring in the video along with actors Manjul Khattar and Rits Badiani, who featured in the original video directed by Bideowale Frame Singh.
