MUMBAI: Popular Indian singer Kanika Kapoor has finally got some relief after testing negative in her fifth test to detect if she is corona positive. The singer reported corona negative on Saturday (4 March 2020), but has been kept under observation at PGI hospital in Lucknow
The Baby Doll singer’s earlier done four COVID-19 tests had come positive, however, the 5th test has given a positive hope to the artist, who was criticized across the country for hiding her travel history. But, she has one more test to go in which she has to score a negative again.
Kapoor was tested positive for COVID-19 for the first time on 20th March while reports of her fourth test came out on 26th March 2020.
An FIR has been filed against Kanika Kapoor based on Lucknow’s CMO’s complaint. The singer has been booked under Section 188, 269, 270 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Lucknow police had booked her for not adhering to isolation post travelling from London and negligently attending parties and various social events, thus increasing the chances of her corona infection spreading to others.
