Rahul Rajhkhowa raps 'Haath Dhona Mat Bhoolna'

MUMBAI: ‘Haath Dhona Mat Bhoolna... Haath Dhona Mat Bhoolna’, raps singer and songwriter Rahul Rajhkhowa in his new song, dedicated to practicing hygiene in the wake of Coronavirus outbreak.

Speaking about the song and the idea behind it, Rahul said, “I just wanted to encourage all the artists out there to stay positive and let them know that it’s possible to create music and art even when you are in the confines of your home and don’t have access to the studio.”

The song was recorded on the iPhone XR completely.

The talented singer, who is also a member of the band called Paperboat shared the message, his song gives.

He said, “The message of the song is what we can do as individuals to contain the virus and keep ourselves productive during this lockdown phase. It’s asking you to stay hygienic, be safe at home and remind the citizens that we have to be united in the fight against this pandemic.”

Haath Dhona Mat Bhoolna has a peppy beat and it's lyrics are relatable to the ongoing corona pandemic. Apart from stressing on the importance of washing hands, Rahul has also mentioned about the police and health workers in the song.

Lastly, Rahul gave a message to everyone, “We will get through this together. All religions, all races, and all caste groups, we need to be united to beat this because the virus doesn’t discriminate.”
